Our Story

Founded in 2020 by Rajiv and Preyash. With their deep expertise in education consulting and technology, and powered by a team of passionate individuals , LilacBuds has become a top study abroad consultant in India.

Our clients come for 16+ countries. And we have helped 3000+ students get admits to 13+ international destinations. We are deeply motivated by a singular purpose to make global education dreams accessible to all.

What’s Behind The Name “Lilacbuds”

LILAC the colour is often associated with confidence and celebration which makes the lilac flowers a classic convocation gift. This echoes our company's focus on preparing our aspirants for graduating from Top Global programs.

BUDS are symbolic of youth and a growth phase. It is also an abbreviation for 'buddies' , which resonates with our unique mentoring program where we work with young aspirants to help mould their higher education journeys.

Rajiv Ganjoo

Founder & CEO

An education consultant having counselled 500+ aspirants to world's top 50 universities. Currently he is the Chief Evangelist and ideator at LilacBuds. He previously led Veritas Test Prep's India Operations, co-founded a VC-funded EdTech Startup and was business head at Career Launcher.

Preyash Shah

Founder & CTO

A product expert who made a career working at the cutting-edge of Data and Technology. He converts big ideas to reality at LilacBuds. He graduated with a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins and has led large teams for 2 global financial powerhouses (Bloomberg & CRISIL).

Karan

Co-Founder

A Strategy & Operations leader with experience across EdTech startups and global consulting, including noteworthy stints at Indegene (Shanghai) and PwC (New Delhi). At LilacBuds, he drafts plans and puts them into action. He holds an MBA from CEIBS and is a graduate of SRCC.
